Our feminist comrade, fellow organizer from our union work group, and member of our association, Ayşe Panuş, has been imprisoned since February 21. Arrested as part of the Peoples’ Democratic Congress (HDK) operation, Ayşe is being held at Bakırköy Women’s Closed Prison.
Yıldız Tar, the editor-in-chief of KaosGL.org, who were arrested as part of the same case, were released on May 30. Ayşe’s first hearing will be held on July 29 at the Antalya 2nd High Criminal Court.
We bear witness to Ayşe Panuş and her work. We demand her release at the first hearing. Freedom for Ayşe Panuş!
