Kaos GL, Women for Women's Human Rights (WWHR), and 17 May Associations are once again joining forces for their "Joint Struggle Against Anti-Gender Politics" initiative, organizing an online panel on November 9th.
The event continues a collaboration that began in 2019, emphasizing the importance of feminist and LGBTI+ solidarity against rising anti-gender movements. It is held as part of the "One Day One Struggle (ODOS)" campaign, annually coordinated by the Coalition for Sexual and Bodily Rights in Muslim Societies (CSBR).
The online meeting, scheduled from 18:00 to 21:00 (Istanbul Time), will focus on the manifestations of anti-gender politics both locally in Turkey and across the Global South. Speakers will discuss the negative impacts of these movements on equality, freedom, and democratic systems.
