Trans woman Nida Nazlıer, who lived in Muratpaşa district, was murdered in her home. During the investigation, a knife buried in soil inside a flowerpot in the garden was found.

Trans woman Nida Nazlıer, who lived in Antalya’s Muratpaşa district, was found dead in her home with her throat slit.
According to reports; H.İ, who left work, came to the home of Nida Nazlıer, whom he lived with. H.İ found Nazlıer in the bathroom with stab wounds. H.İ went out to the balcony and called for help; people nearby informed the 112 Emergency Call Center.
According to the report in DHA; police officers who arrived at Nazlıer’s home upon notification launched an investigation. During the investigation, the police found a knife buried in soil inside a flowerpot in the garden. H.İ, who found Nazlıer, was taken into custody.
The Homicide Bureau teams of the Public Security Branch Directorate also began examining the nearby security cameras. Following the examination at the scene by the Public Prosecutor and the police, Nazlıer’s body was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute morgue.
The police investigation into the incident is ongoing.
